24 BUK Students Land In Trouble Over Fake Certificates

Twenty four students of the Bayero University (BUK) Kano, have been expelled over falsification of their entry qualifications.

This was disclosed by the spokesperson for the university, Malam Lamara Garba in a statement on Friday in Kano, PM News reports.

According to him, the students mostly in their final year were expelled following the approval by the Senate of the University at its 374th meeting, held on July 31.

He noted that six other students were withdrawn for presenting fake results from their institutions while another student was withdrawn for presenting a cancelled NECO result, adding that 18 students would be re-invited to appear before the Senate Committee on Entry Qualification Irregularities, to give the undergraduates fair hearing.
