BREAKING: Buhari Signs June 12 Bill Into Law


President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday assented the Public Holiday Amendment bill into law.

Senator Ita Enang, presidential aide on National Assembly matters, told state house correspondents after the signing ceremony that the new law allows public holiday to be declared on June 12, adding that May 29th will no longer be public holiday but handing over date and working day.

The Federal Government has declared Wednesday has public holiday and democracy day.
