Embattled R. Kelly has pleaded not guilty to 11 additional s3x-related felonies on Thursday during a court hearing at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse.
Among the 11 new counts are four counts of aggravated criminal s3xual assault, which carries a sentence of up to 30 years in prison, that is more than four times as long as the maximum term for each of the 10 counts Kelly was originally charged with in February, Associated Press reports.
Recall that the Grammy award-winner spent days behind bars when he was originally charged in February.
The singer pleaded not guilty to 10 related counts of aggravated s3xual abuse involving three girls and one woman.
According to the report, he is expected back in court on June 26, when all four of the current Cook County cases against him will be addressed.
